The most honest measure of an apparel brand is what they're willing to publish about their own clothes.
Not the lookbook. Not the founder story. The boring stuff — the fabric weight, the country of origin of each component, the name of the factory, the wage paid to the people who cut and sew, the dye process, the certifications, the failure modes, the warranty. The part where the marketing language has to stop and the spec sheet has to start.
